2016-17 SCHOOL YEAR CLASSES
Our Youth classes are a school-year round professional-training acting classes. Verve will assist students ready to seek representation or work at the conclusion of the school year class. The class meets every week for 90-minutes and provides Young Actors a place to learn and implement acting technique. Curriculum includes Technique, Script Analysis, Commercials, Improv, Film and On-Camera presence work, and the practicality of The Business (local agents, casting directors). This class is essential for students wishing to get agency representation as well as for those who already have representation. Students will work individually in monologues, exercises and improvs, as well as be partnered up for scene and on-camera scene work. The difficulty of materials will be assigned based on experience of the actor so beginning, intermediate and advanced actors will all excel in this class.

FILM ACTING CAMPS
During this camp, you will not only learn about acting on film, you will act on film! From auditions to wrapping the production, you’ll go through the entire process of participating in a digital short film, all in an educational, instructional and fun environment. You’ll learn character development, acting skills, camera technique and the differences and similarities between stage and film acting. Class is limited to 10 participants; the script is written specifically for the students enrolled. A digital copy of the completed short film will be provided to the student after the conclusion of the camp. A screening of the completed film will be held in June or July; participants will select the day. Verve has been offering this camp for 11 years and it is led by professional filmmakers and actors. Some of the past films are available for viewing on the Verve Studios' YouTube channel.
