Can you articulate what your technique is?  Do you know how you do what you do?  Are you consistent?

THE CORE is the nuts and bolts of acting technique so that you can attain both knowledge and confidence in your work.  Actors will learn how to prepare and score a part, how to use dramatic improv and how to work effectively and flexibly with a scene partner.  Students will work individually and will be partnered up; work and reading outside the class is required.

The intensive class is the pre-requisite for entry into the Scene Study classes. Required reading for Foundational Classes: Uta Hagen’s A CHALLENGE FOR THE ACTOR. Optional reeading: Richard Boleslavsky’s ACTING: THE FIRST SIX LESSONS.

3-hour class once a week for 8 weeks.
Maximum 12 students.
Deposit of 1/3, 1/2 of full tuition must be put down to secure spot in the class. Balance is due by the first class.
