About the Class
COMMERCIAL TECHNIQUE, LEVEL 1
Taught by working commercial actors, Commercial Technique, Level 1 focuses on giving you the skills needed to audition for Arizona agents and commercials, including cold reading, camera technique, improvisation and tools of the trade (headshots, resumes, types).
Open to adult students ages 18 and up. This class is required to participate in the Industry Showcase. If you wish to get an agent in Arizona, this class is a must as agents will have you audition with a commercial: the majority of the work in Arizona.
- 12 HOURS OF CLASS! 3-hour class once a week for 4 weeks.
- 12 student maximum
- Brief Vocal and physical warm-up every class
- Improv warm-up every class

- Individual Preparation Prior to class

About the Class
COMMERCIAL TECHNIQUE, LEVEL 2
Level 2 builds on the skills from Level 1 covering more complicated and difficult scripts and filming situations to make you competitive in national and multi-market commercials. This class covers hitting your marks, working with products and food, The Business - including unions, rates, residuals, plus marketing material best practices and more.
Open to adult students ages 18 and up that have completed Level 1.

Advanced Commercial Workout
About the Class
A fast-paced workout for those who have already taken Verve’s commercials course(s) focusing on making bold choices with difficult copy. Inline with real auditions, Copy will be e-mailed 24-48 hours prior to the workout.
Open to adult students ages 18 and up that have taken Commercial Technique L1 or L2 previously.
