The Power of Specificity Workshop: Use specifics to deepen emotional commitment, make characters more vivid, and add richness and depth to scene work. Through various games and scenes, improvisers will practice using specificity to see how making specific choices makes their work more interesting and fun! Open to anyone.
Navaris Darson teaches remotely at The Groundlings Theatre and School in Los Angeles, which specializes in character-based improv, and he’s thrilled to be teaching these in-person workshops right here in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Open to adult students ages 18 and up.

A improv workshop that focuses on the importance of relaxation, teamwork, and making joyous choices. In this workshop, we’ll delve into how these three elements make improv — as well as the business of acting and everyday life — more enjoyable and easier to navigate. Open to anyone.

A workshop that explores the fun of playing characters and building relationships. In this workshop, students will learn how to create characters and use them in fun short-form games and longer narrative formats. For anyone who’s taken Level 1 and Level 2.
