Covid-19 Vaccination required for Adult participation
Starting September 1, all ADULTS 18 and over must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to participate in IN STUDIO classes, tapings and lessons. If medically unable to get vaccinated, a negative Covid-19 test must be taken 24-48 hours prior to the session with the results shared with the studio.

Video auditions include the use of camera, lighting, sound, reader off camera, and post-production (compression and delivery of file). Verve's backdrop is blue. Actors are asked to come camera and performance ready.

The scene package includes a fully dressed set, professional sound, lighting, and editing for a 3-hour session (2 hours filming, 1 hour editing).
This is a great opportunity to work with a fellow actor and both get quality footage for your reels. Includes a master shot and close-ups of both actors and one master edit of the scene and raw footage.
The scene should be no more than 1.5 minutes long. Please treat this as a real job and show up fully prepared and memorized. $350*

The monologue package includes professional sound, lighting, and editing for 1.5-hour session (1 hour filming, .5 hour editing).
You will need a partner for this option as well to make it look like a professional scene. Includes a master shot, multiuple close ups of the main actor and a reaction shot of the second actor.
The monlogue should be no more than 1.5 minutes long. Please treat this as a real job and show up fully prepared and memorized. $250*

Our studio can put together a fully-dressed kitchen, bedroom, living room, school hallway, and office sets tailored to your shoot.
The service includes a fully dressed set (Kitchen, Living Room, Bedroom, School Hallway, School Classroom, Office Waiting Room, Office), professional photography, lighting, sound, coverage of both actors and delivery of an edited scene. We are now offering our editing services to help you put together demo reels to show off your acting skills. Bring us your pre-existing footage that you’ve collected from films, television, and commercial projects and we will create professional demo reels that will make you a stand out in today’s competitive industry.
While having a reel that features a combination of footage is acceptable, it is best to have focused reels such as dramatic, comedic, commercial, or hosting.

- Digital copies of the material you wish to use. We will need the actual digital file by way of external hard drive, Dropbox, Hightail, or WeTransfer. Unfortunately, we cannot accept it via a link from a streaming site to download and we are unable to work with hard media (DVDs, tapes, etc.) Files must be digitized before submission. (If you don’t have this, contact the filmmaker to get it.)
- The time codes or scene selections and your preference for the order of clips (In and Out points).
- Please limit your choices to no more than FIVE (5) clips per reel with a maximum length of two minutes. The more concise, the better it is for the viewers.
- The details for your title card graphics (both your agent’s and your contact information, film titles and directors, etc.)

Verve Studios’ Ashley Faulkner and Amanda Melby help actors tape and submit their auditions every week and are now offering this WEBINAR to help you learn the basics and be successful in your own self-taping. This workshop covers sides, lighting, sound, camera, editing and delivery.
