Shakespeare Boot Camp
About the Class
Explore both the technical and artistic with master teacher Laura Winstin in Shakespeare Boot Camp.
We will be focused on partnered scene work and monologues in this three week intensive. In addition, Laura will teach (and review) iambic pentameter, language basics, Verse vs. Prose, Pronouns, breaking down the script, and how to make Shakespeare's language feel contemporary to you!
Students should have their monologues selected (and plays read) prior to the first class. Assistance is available in selecting material.
This is an adult class, ages 18 and up. (High School seniors wishing to prep for college auditions are welcome.)
12 HOURS OF CLASS!
3-hour class once a week for 3 weeks.
Maximum: 12 students.
Requires outside class partnered rehearsals.

Classical Monologues
About the Class
This is a 5-week class, taught Classical theatre expert Laura Winstin. Two classes will be spent on a Shakespearean monologue and two on a contrasting non-Shakespeare Classical monologue. At the final class, there will be 2 monologues performances per student, audition style.
Students should have their monologues selected (and plays read) prior to the first class. Assistance is available in selecting material.

15 HOURS OF CLASS! 3-hour class once a week for 5 weeks. Maximum: 12 students.
