Verve Studios is a comprehensive professional actor-training boutique studio located in the Scottsdale, Arizona Airpark.
Led by seasoned, degreed, working professional actors, Verve Studios offers students the mentorship, career guidance and foundational core training they need in order to be successful, working actors.
Featuring well-planned curriculum led by expert teachers and coaches, Verve Studios’ classes are suited to serious and open actors and are limited in size in order to give each student individual, tailored attention.
The training at Verve Studios focuses on both the craft and the business of acting and creates flexible, dynamic working actors, who respect and understand the process and one another.

If you are not actively working on a film or theatre project, you should be in class! If you are signed with an agent, you should be in class! (In fact, many actually require it!)

Professional Training Program
Foundations for Aspiring to Working Actors
Weekday/School Year
Verve’s YOUTH PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM is comprehensive, ongoing training for young actors 4th-12th grade. The curriculum builds year after year adding depth to the young professional's training. At the end of every school year, actors that have completed the year are invited to be showcased to local agents, casting directors and theatre and film producers and directors.
Workshops and Workouts
Classes for Aspiring to Working Actors
Verve’s WEEKEND WORKOUTS feature the full complement of the Foundation and Working Actor classes, but in an a la carte format. Our weekend workshops and workouts are for students in 4th-12th grade and are great for those designed not able to commit to a weekly class, or new to Verve. They rotate through topics and content and will keep your skills in tip-top shape. Weekend workshops and workouts are available individually or in a package.
Private Coaching
Coaching for Aspiring to Working Actors
Private coaching is available for those students who wish to prepare for an upcoming audition, or need individual attention. Focus can include: monologues, audition preparation, audition taping and career guidance. This is a great way for beginners to get aquainted with the studio in preparation for joining a group class. All levels are welcome; ages 8 and up (will consider 6 or 7 year olds on a case-by-case basis.)
Private coaching can be IN STUDIO, via Facetime, Skype or ZOOM.
REGISTRATION
1. ** E-mail or call 480.659.8957 for available time slots. DO NOT register without finding out if there is an available time slot. The schedule of availability is very fluid.
2. Register Online and pay the $25 deposit. Registration must be done a minimum of 48-Hours prior to the first lesson for private lessons and 24-Hours for auditioning taping.
3. Once the registration form and deposit is received by Verve, your appointment will be confirmed via e-mail and invoice sent. Sessions are NOT confirmed until deposit and registration has been received and confirmed by Verve.
Summer Camps
On Camera Fun and Learning
High School actors will not only learn about acting on film, they will act on film! From auditions to wrapping the production, actors go through the entire process of participating in a digital short film, all in an educational, instructional and fun environment. Each camp is limited to 10 participants; the script is custom written. Some of the past films are available for viewing on the Verve Studios' YouTube Channel. Film Acting Camps are in July.
CAMERA READY CAMPS
Camera Ready: Character
This half-day camp covers the building blocks of character through Improv, Scenes, Monologues and exercises.
Camera Ready: Action
This half-day camp covers the building blocks of commercials, voice over, hosting, TV and film.
